AK-1 Drops HDMI, Locks Up

Post by stillcopper »

When doing ANYTHING it will drop HDMI out, display will show lost signal, then reattach, but comp is locked on that screen.
Mouse moves but no control over anything.
When opening a Youtube video it will play for couple minutes then freeze.
Times where simply moving mouse will cause misc blue screens with generic error codes that don't point to any device or areas.
We are a network support facility so versed with these type of problems but can't really troubleshoot do to the lock down nature of the box.

-AK-1 purchased early January
- Windows 10 Pro, problem occurs whether straight out of box or with all Windows patches updates as of 2-15-21.
-Have 'reset' system and installed from scratch, no programs/apps other than what came with it initially.
-Cleaned event log
-Fresh Windows event error when happens shows Error 4101 - igfx stopped then recovered.
-Has latest drivers.

Appears to be an error in the motherboard/video combo, a hardware issue. Please advice on obtaining replacement under warranty.
Have 5 of these units and this is only one with problems.

Watching this thread closely. I have until March to return the AK1 that I am having problems with (Amazon return).

I have not seen one reply by ACE PC to address this or fix the problems with communication between monitor and PC.

Happy New Year, we always put our customers first. There are only two solutions to deep sleep at present, using the HOME version of the system or turning off the sleep mode. We will pay close attention to Microsoft's system updates and participate in every system test. Please be patient. You can replace it with a new MINI PC. This phenomenon only occurs on individual computers.
