A couple of months ago I bought an N97 based S1 and while installing apps and customizing it to my liking, I noticed it is running Win 11 Home but every review and ad I have seen mentions Pro. I contacted Acemagic and they sent me the iso ( and the"how to" video ( I have 2 questions :

Couldn't they just provide a product code ? Does it change my product code in UEFI ?
If I install it, will it return pc to "bare" condition (like when new) erasing all I have installed ?

First, yes, it will bring everything back to a factory state, as the process completely wipes the drive, then installs the system.

Having said this, it's always been my understanding that the version of Windows is dependent on the license (Product Key), so I'm not quite sure how installing the Pro version of the system would make it Pro without it having a Pro license. It does appear that the Home and Pro versions of the systems they provide actually are different, though I'm not sure how. But again, I don't know how installing the Pro version of the system would actually make it Pro while the original license is for Home.

You could try it and see what it does, or you can contact barry, a tech for the company, at barry@minipcunion.com for clarification.

For reference, nearly all of the models from this company originally came with the Pro version of Windows, but last year they started transitioning to Home. It may be that, while the reviews you saw were for models that came with Pro, by the time you bought one they had transitioned the model to Home. If the listing itself did say it came with Pro, then they should definitely help rectify the situation so that you have Pro.
