I have several AceMaagic / Ace Magician / Kamrui systems. On all the systems that I tested this evening, waking at a set time from the S5 state (power off) works just fine EXCEPT for the AD08.
In the BIOS, I set the option to wake at a fixed time but this does not work when the system is in S5 state. However, it DOES work if I hibernate the system rather than shut down the system. Ironically, the name of this option in the BIOS is "Wake system from S5" but it does not work in the S5 state, only in hibernation.
Interestingly, the system will wake from S5 using Wake On LAN, but the wake using the RTC at a fixed time does not work from S5.
Is there any known solution for or is this a bug in the BIOS? If it is a bug in the BIOS, are any BIOS updates available for this system?

This has me curious. It looks like you've done a decent amount of troubleshooting, so how have you confirmed it's in s5 state, what kind of config testing have you done, etc? I haven't done much with the different S-states, but some searching shows "powercfg /waketimer" can show when it's expected to wake up, along with similar settings.
As for a BIOS update, try contacting support. I haven't seen anything in the forums that addresses this.

S5 is simply the normal shutdown state. So, when you select the option to shut the system down in Windows, that is S5. So, as noted, the BIOS option actually references S5. However, in order for this to work, you cannot perform a shutdown, you have to choose the option to hibernate instead. As noted, parts of the system are obviously powered in S5 (as expected) because Wake On LAN works in that mode.

It sounds like the AD08 might have a quirk in the BIOS that’s causing it to only wake from hibernation and not from a full shutdown (S5). Since Wake on LAN works from S5, the RTC wake function could just be buggy for this model. Have you checked if there’s a BIOS update available?
