ACEPC AK1 Wifi Problems: a solution

Hello all,
Just spent a few hours to understand why I was having Wifi problems on my new ACEPC K1... Somehow, the driver of the Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 was updated to version 19.51.31.1; and that's when the problems started: the PC would connect OK to my Wifi access point, but the network wasn't working. If I'm connected to my phone's Wifi access point; then it all works.
The solution: disable 802 11n/ac in the advanced properties of the adapter!
