An HDD doesn't need a driver. It's possible the drive is too power hungry to properly work as an add on drive.

Also, make sure it has a properly formatted partition on it or it won't show in Windows.

Unfortunately it happens that windows does not recognize the HDD and asks you for the drivers, it has happened to me more than a few times even with the emblazoned brands (only in this case you go to the site and download the drivers)
Windows Needs Drivers to Recognize Devices

This error pops up when it asks you where to install Windows, just insert the drivers into USB and browse when prompted

Are you trying to install an older version of Windows on that HDD?

It is a version of Windows 11 Pro made with Rufus
For internal company PC this is the practice, format and reinstall Windows 11/10 clean

Ah. It may very well have to do with the installation media itself. I would try using installation media created with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool.

if I only had the drivers I would have solved it....
Is there a possibility of having them?

Updated drivers were recently posted at the above link. Make sure you log in to Google before trying to access them.

The issue you're having is not at all a common one, which is why I say it's likely related to the installation media itself. It most often tends to happen when there is an attempt to install an older version of Windows that isn't supported by the unit, but being that you're trying to install Windows 11 it most likely has to do with the media.

While there are drivers available for this model, they're for Windows as installed, not for attempting to install the system itself.

You can try contacting barry777 to see if he can help. He's a tech for the company. It's barry@minipcunion.com. I can tell you though, his recommendation is likely to be installing the system available on the forum. With this said, the version is a bit old, so I'll see if I can get him to update it to a more recent version.

To update, the post with the available system has now been updated to include W11 Pro version 22H2. It's not 23H2, but it's one step closer. They're likely testing a 23H2 version with the N5105 AK1 Pro, but with it being a somewhat older model it will probably take some time to make sure all works smoothly. That doesn't mean you can't upgrade it to 23H2 through Windows Update though, which only takes a few minutes. I don't have an N5105 AK1 Pro, but I do have an N5105 GK3 Pro, which is essentially the same thing, just in a different style case, and my GK3 Pro works fine with 23H2.
