I have encountered the problem in question when I update w10. Is it possible to have the wifi driver previously installed?

SAMARCANDA,

I've scoured the forum and can't find any posting of separate drivers for the AK3V. That doesn't mean there isn't any, but only that it appears that, if there are, they haven't yet been posted by an admin.

However, the Windows 10 Pro OS download I provided in your other topic does include the drivers, so if you reinstall Windows using that download the drivers will be automatically installed with the OS.

For reference, after the unit has had the OS installed, you can save the driver file store in case you ever need just the drivers. You can find the driver file store at C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository. You can copy/save the File Repository as a single folder, or go into it and save all of the individual folders. I find it easier to just save the File Repository folder as a whole, as it will include everything inside. Then, if you ever need to reinstall a driver from the system, you can connect the flash drive or whatever it is you saved the folder(s) to, then select that folder to search in and the driver will be found and automatically installed.

This way, you also have the drivers in case you ever want to install Windows from user created Windows installation media (downloaded from Microsoft). For instance, I performed a clean install of Windows 10 Pro 2004 on my AK3 from flash drive installation media I had created using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft. I then installed the needed drivers from the driver file repository I had saved from the Windows 10 Pro 1909 installation on the AK3 before I performed the clean install.

Hope this helps. 🙂
