New SSD install
Hi I got a new SSD kingston nv2 pcie 4.0 m.2 in 1tb to upgrade my storage on my computer. Was wondering how to install it. Had problems booting it, I get stuck at the bios screen and can’t boot it…?
Re: New SSD install
Hi Darkmagician,
I had to recently reinstall Windows on my AMR5. First important thing is, does the BIOS recognise the device? If it does, you should be able to boot off of a Windows USB drive and install from there. You can build your own from Microsoft, or use the files found in these forums: viewtopic.php?t=4411
Regardless of where you get the Windows install from, I would recommend downloading those files anyway. They contain updated drivers that will help get all the devices working.
