I just recently purchased the AM06Pro and it came preinstalled with Win 11 Home. All the system images on this forum are for Win 11 Pro. The Amazon listing doesn't specify which version of Windows 11 it came with. I assumed it would've been Pro. So now, I can't use the system images, which I did already, and also can't restore to the original Win 11 Home that came with the system. My only option is to do a clean Microsoft Win 11 Home Iso?

I am in the same situation and expected the machine to come with Win11 Pro.

I reached out through customer support and was sent the reinstall image instructions. I attempted to reinstall the image per the site's instructions and I am unable to activate the Pro version. I am receiving an activation error stating that this device is saved to a Win11 Home version.

Did you order yours on Amazon too? Did the listing say which version of Win 11?
The reviews on the one I ordered all said win 11 Pro was installed, plus all the posts on this site. Kinda strange if it's shipping with 11 home.

I believe they are transitioning to Windows 11 Home with many of their models.

As for the listed system reinstallation files, I'm not sure if they're like traditional, universal Windows installation media, in that the unit's Product Key is the determinant for whether it will end up being Home or Pro. If not, I'm sure they'll begin updating the system files available soon, giving the version for Home as well as the Pro already listed.

If you have current need to reinstall the Windows 11 Home system, I'd contact barry777, a tech for the company, at barry@minipcunion.com to see if the one listed will work for Home or if he can provide you with the Home version.

Yes, I also purchased it through Amazon. I did not see it specifically state which version of Windows 11 on the listing, but there were recent reviews of the same model where it was stated that theirs came with WIn11 Pro.

Thanks for the suggestion Gabe, I'll try reaching out to barry777 to see if there's anything he can do. It's a shame if they decided to suddenly change the OS without notice.

I take that back, the Amazon listing does state that it is preinstalled with 11 Pro on the slide ticker in the middle of the listing.

In that case, I'd take snapshots of the listing where it shows that it was supposed to come with Pro, then contact barry. Hopefully he can provide you with a Product Key for W11 Pro.

Yeah I just rechecked the Amazon listing for my order and it does say Pre-installed 11 Pro.

Will the Windows 11 Pro system available Activate as Pro on a computer that came with Windows 11 Home? As far as I know, it depends on Product Key.

The problem is that both b20vtecsedan and cski12 were expecting Windows 11 Pro on their computers, as that's what the listing on Amazon said, while the units they received have Windows 11 Home.
