Hello.
I'm trying to achieve Dual-channel RAM in my Nipogi AM02 (Ryzen 7 3750H)
It came with 1 RAM module of 16Gb (Lexar 16Gb 2Rx8 PC4-3200AA-SE1) and I'm trying to replace it with 2x Lexar 8Gb 1Rx8 PC4-3200AA-SA2
When I open BIOS or boot into my OS
With 2x8Gb
- it shows 8192Mb of total memory but shows that it detects DIMM0 with 8192 and DIMM1 with 8192Mb.
With 16Gb in 1st slot and 8Gb in the second
- it shows 16384Mb of total memory but shows that it detects DIMM0 with 16384 and DIMM1 with 8192Mb.
With 8Gb in 1st slot and 16Gb in the second
- it shows 8192Mb of total memory but shows that it detects DIMM0 with 8192 and DIMM1 with 16384Mb.
With 1st slot empty and 8Gb or 16Gb in the second it won't boot (red light won't turn on).
BIOS Reset won't help
Reducing RAM memory clock inside overlock menu goes to the boot loop resetting bios settings.
Playing around with BIOS also didn't help.
AM02 Cannot upgrade RAM
