I am seeing a lot of the following when installing FreeBSD based firewalls such as pfSense on the T8PLUS:

Firmware Error (ACPI): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.PC00.LPCB.ITE8.GETT], AE_NOT_FOUND (20221020/psargs-503)

ACPI Error: Aborting method \_TZ.TZ00._TMP due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20221020/psparse-689)

Anyone else seen similar?

yes same for me.

Strangely I have two of these T8PLUS boxes. One throws this error, but the second doesn't.

Appears to be a bug in the BIOS, specifically the ACPI tables.

I have spent a couple of hours trying to copy the ACPI tables from the working one to the one with the fault, but I've failed to do this (I can't seem to drive iasl / acipdump)

Can you provide us photos of your BIOS configuration?

Gibt es ein BIOS Update?

I have OPNsense running on my T8Pro (not T8plus), without an issue. It would help to know details of the problem, in case others have already figured it out.

Je rencontre le même problème avec ce message ACPI ; l'installation pfSense à partir de la clé USB se fait (affichage pollué par les messages mais ça va jusqu'au bout quand même, en validant les choix par défaut) ; lors du reboot sur le DD, clé USB retirée, les messages apparaissent en masse dans l'affichage de l'avancement du boot, jusqu'au moment où l'erreur ACPI empêche toute résolution, ça boucle de façon perpétuelle avec ces 5 lignes:

J'ai lu un autre post sur le même sujet relatif à une machine "S1" où il est expliqué qu'il s'agirait d'un problème de sonde thermique et la résolution proposée serait de modifier le fichier de configuration /boot/loader.conf, mais dans mon cas, impossible d'arriver au menu pfSense qui proposerait de passer en mode shell (ou de faire 2x <entrée> pour passer en mode shell)

Ma machine est une ACE MAGICIAN T8PLUS de Shenzen CYX Industrial Co Ltd , 8 GB RAM 256 GB SSD, commandée sur Amazon lundi 17 mars et reçue le lendemain.

Quelqu'un a-t-il réussi à résoudre le problème sur ce type de machine (vu qu'il n'y a pas de résolution exposée dans cette suite de posts...) ?
