Absolutely. In fact, a 2.5" SSD is recommended. It's faster, uses less power, lasts longer and stays cooler than a 2.5" HDD.
The option to use a 2.5" HDD is usually meant for people who already have one to use, but if they want to buy a 2.5" drive for storage expansion in a mini PC an SSD is almost always recommended. Actually, some older 2.5" HDDs might not even work properly, as they sometimes need more power than newer ones to operate, and considerably more power than an SSD.

Alcides,
I posted another reply in
your prior topic. You had posted in the section for the AM02, but I missed that you had AM06 Pro in your title. The system that was posted was for the AM02, not the AM06 Pro.
For your AM06 Pro, make sure to use the system linked to in
my subsequent reply, not the prior one, as that's for the AM02.
Edit: I've now moved the prior topic to this AM06 Pro section.

Yes, I agree with Gabe;
If AM06 Pro and current Mini PC support expansion of 2.5-inch hard drives, it is recommended to install a 2.5-inch SSD, which is faster, lower power consumption, longer service life and cooler than 2.5-inch HDD.
Another point: the thickness of HDD is thicker than SSD. If HDD is installed, the bottom cover or upper cover may not be completely installed.
