S1 (N97) - Platform PL1/PL2 Power & Limit values - BIOS

Can someone please verify the Platform PL1 & PL2 Power and Limit values in the BIOS on your system (N95/N97/N100)? The BIOS on my N97 system shows 25000 (25 watts) @ all 4 values and no PL1 Time Window.

I saw similar equipped systems where the values were PL1: 10000 - 12500 (10-12,5 watts) and PL2: 25000-30000 (25-30 watts) while PL1 Time Window was set to 28 seconds. I'm wondering, if these settings are right and if this can affect the cpu load problematic, because there is no step up or step down with this values. I'm by far not an expert in these settings, but a T1 power (limit) that is over twice as high as the specified 12W TDP concerns me... Maybe I'm wrong with this, but regarding to a few YouTube videos and in depth reviews these values are used to overclock the CPU. But this high :?: Screenshots of the BIOS values are attached.

On the other hand, the "stand alone" LibreHardwareMonitor https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor ... areMonitor itself shows the cpu load (see attached LHM.png) and the GetCPUInfo.exe which is obviously collecting the cpu values to be shown on the lcd is using a slightly newer version of LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll as the one, that sits in the /Windows/OEM/CYX_TftTool/bin folder. It seems, that the GetCPUInfo.exe or TFTConfigQMake.exe is not able to handle the cpu load values...

And another question bundled:
Is there a way to get a proper dialed in BIOS for the N97 cpu and all the needed drivers for a complete reinstall of a fresh Win11Pro image, while keeping the activation and the two(?) programs that are responsible for the LCD and the RGB? The installed image really feels somewhat corrupted and spiced with backdoors, trojans and whatnot... Even the preinstalled Chrome Browser has suspicious "navwithus" search shortcut settings that lead to "https://seek.asrcwus.com/results.aspx?q ... =RD1003627" and I have a feeling, that the 7,7GB image that can be downloaded, will also have these "special ingredients"... :(

Well, maybe I have an serious trust issue - but in my career this is one of the most concerning systems I had to deal with!

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I would contact barry, a tech for the company, at barry@minipcunion.com.

For reference, I don't believe there is a version of the S1 with the N97 CPU. Are you sure it's the S1 that you have?

Feedback has been received and we are verifying the issue and will release a solution at that time.

All I wanted in this tread was to ask the community of S1 owners for comparison of these PL1 & PL2 values in BIOS. That's what a forum like this is for, isn't it?

The LibreHardwareMonitor Part was for information on the 1% cpu-load case they are already working on and maybe for personal use, because it shows all cpu & system values and uses the same .dll

The image part is somehow obsolete, because there is a new and bigger imagefile with a driver folder. Unfortunately still with these "little tweaks" in the installation routines (navwithus, upsearches, PartnerSearchCode...) in some of the .bat, .cmd and .xml files in the whole "Scripts" folder of this image. Examine these files yourself, if you like ;)

And for your information: a S1 with N97 does exist - see attached label of my device and the BIOS Mainpage ;) I was also surprised, as this config showed up on amazon.de, because I've seen this configuration nowhere else. N95 and N100, either with 512GB or 1TB yes, but not the N97.
Strange? A bit...!

The N97 version of the S1, listed as 22w, is also available on Amazon U.S through the importer MiaoYuuan

That's interesting, for sure.

Yep. Just found it. They must have just added it yesterday.

So, no imagination on my side... 8-)

@Gabe: Are you able to take a look into your S1 BIOS to compare these values?
