I like that too. I hope it's made so you can choose what you want it to show.

Super cute device! It looks like they have a program that lets you customize the screen (CPU status, clock, etc) but it doesn't indicate how flexible it would be, or if it supports another OS. It suggests pfsense or openWRT right on it, so I can imagine someone wanting to use it as a quick system spec display, or something similar.

They seem to give enough features for most users. Dual NICS, dual monitors, 16GB RAM, 512GB or 1TB storage. The listing isn't clear about expansion - RAM and storage would be nice to hear about.

Still, I wouldn't mind playing around with this one.

--edit: Amazon has a listing that shows unavailable, but includes more details about upgrading and that tiny screen: www.amazon.com/ACEMAGIC-Mini-PC/dp/B0CHB2M1LW

I just saw that on the Amazon page it shows it using DDR4 rather than DDR5.

Intel's ARK page shows the N95 can handle both DDR4 and DDR5, so I wonder if both options are secretly available, or if it can handle upgrading?

Good question. No doubt the CPU could handle it, but they have a different pin count and pin layout, so I doubt using DDR5 would be an option.

With that said, maybe the info is wrong and it actually does use DDR5. I'd prefer it.

dragonpoo,

Looks like it's available to buy now on Amazon. It's a bit more expensive than on the ACEMAGIC website though.

According to the information currently available, DDR5 and DDR4 cannot be used interchangeably;

The S1 (N95) comes in two versions:

16+1TB (Turbo frequency up to 20W TDP), memory (single channel) supports SO-DIMM DDR4, up to 16GB; SSD support: M.2 dual slot, 1×M.2 2280 NVME/SATA, 1×M .2 2280 SATA, single slot supports up to 2TB.

16+512GB (turbo frequency up to 15W TDP), memory (single channel) supports SO-DIMM DDR4, up to 16GB; SSD support: M.2 dual slot, 1×M.2 2280 NVME/SATA, 1×M .2 2280 SATA, single slot supports up to 2TB.

Hi All: pretty nice mini PC.

The LCD info are gorgeous, but the CPU % indicator is always stuck at 1%.
Just wondering if there will be an update for the "TFT Setting" application.

Cheers, Alex
