Hello there,

I recently baught a ACEMAGICIAN AD03 to be used as a replacement for my old workstation. I need to use to displays to work effectively therefore I wanted to connect on display via HDMI the other via Displayport. The HDMI connection works but not the Displayport.

My displays have HDMI, DVI and VGA Inputs and I first I used a Displayport to HDMI, DVI and VGA Adapter. The adapter worked perfectly on my old workstation. I also baught a Displayport -> HDMI cable (passive) but it didn't work either.

I already tried to update to the newest Intel drivers and also tried different displays. What else can I try? Die USB-C connector doesn't support thunderbold display connections as far as I understood. And a test using a USB-C 1 to 6 adapter seems to confirm that.

Any help?

Regards,
UsrBinTron

You must have a choice to operate in the display settings.

Hi and thanks for your reply.

If I try to "Discover" new displays", Windows tells me that no additional displays could be found.

Additionally, if I keep the DisplayPort -> HDMI cable plugged in and reboot the PC starts to play a ongoing beep sound. If I then unplug the cable it starts up normaly using the HDMI port and the display connected to it.

It is recommended to use HDMI-HDMI, DP-DP cables; using adapter cables will cause incompatibility.

Maybe but I used Adapters and HDMI <> DisplayPort cables in the past with many different systems and displays. I also only own displays with HDMI, DVI or VGA inputs.

There must be a solution for this.

I'm wondering out loud if an active (as opposed to passive) DP to HDMI cable might solve this problem. Unfortunately, I don't have an active cable to try this for you.

Short update on the issue. My multi adapter worked but instead if HDMI I used VGA as the connection.
