Fresh out of the box. All auto updates applied. Got 2 identical monitors (HP M24F) with HDMI and VGA only (no DP ports). Knowing this I bought a IIABC DP-to-HDMI adapter. The OS isn't detecting the monitor connected to the DP (via the adapater) - I don't have other hardware to test with. Curious if others with no DP port monitors have had any success hooking an HDMI monitor up to the DP with an adapter or cable, and if so, what product did you use?

Liking the unit so far - perfect for my girlfriend's light use. Just want to get both monitors working.

I do think you will need an active rather than passive adapter, but the brand you mention does make active adapters.

I think those kinds of adapters can be picky, with some working for some PCs and others not.

I think I remember a previous discussion about this kind of thing, as in DP to HDMI adapter use, but I can't find it.
