Post by barry777 »

To successfully access and play 4K video content through Netflix, your computer environment must meet the following requirements:

1. A display (TV or monitor) that supports 4K@60hz.
2. Newer Windows system and driver, and then open Netflix through App or Edge browser.
3. The HDMI cable and HDMI port (monitor and computer) must be HDCP 2.2 certified. (HDCP is the abbreviation of High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection high-bandwidth digital content protection technology. When transmitting through HDMI and other interfaces, the content must be encrypted. Of course, HDCP is charged, and the hardware manufacturer of the display has to pay for it. When buying a 4K display
must pay attention to support HDCP 2.2).
4. A subscription Netflix plan that supports UHD live streaming.
5. A stable internet connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher.
6. Stream quality is set to "Auto" or "High".
7. HEVC video extension must be installed. This enables compatible Windows® 10 devices to play video using the HEVC format in any application, including 4K and Ultra HD content.
8. Graphics card requirements, intel CPU after the 7th generation (because this encryption format is only supported after the 7th generation), N card is GTX1050 and newer, the driver must also be kept up to date, A card needs to be RX 400 and later series , theoretically need to support Play Ready 3.0.
