Win10 system desktop icon has a small arrow removal method
1. Right-click the start icon to find Run or press the shortcut key Win + R; 2. After opening the run window, enter regedit to confirm that the registry editor will pop up;
3. Find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile in the registry editor, you can use the shortcut search to directly enter /HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/lnkfile at the top.
4. Find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile and select linkfile, and the value will appear on the right;
5. Find the IsShortcut key in lnkfile, right-click to delete the key. After confirming the deletion, close the registry editor and restart the computer. Note: If this operation causes the computer management to not work normally, just create a new string value named IsShortcut;
6. After restarting the computer, the small arrow on the desktop icon is gone. If some applications disappear after you restart, you can resend these applications to the desktop through the built-in search bar, and there will be no ugly little arrows.
