I have recently (4th September) bought an AK3 from Amazon. After a windows update (before I had seen the advice to disable automatic updates) the PC wasnt able to boot to the windows login screen.
The hard drive appears to be faulty, as when I try and reinstall windows 10 from a usb, the installer is unable to write to the hard drive.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

It may be that your wrong operation caused the system disk not to be entered. Press the DEL key while booting. After entering the BIOS, switch to the "BOOT" tab and set the first boot item of "Boot Option #1" to
"widnows boot manager", then press F4 to save and exit.
If you do not have this option and need to reinstall the system, you need to format the U disk and change it to NTFS format. This is the tutorial for reinstalling the system: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11UwjWX ... sp=sharing
