HELP! W8 Pro BIOS Failure

Hi, I did not know there is an official forum before. Thank god I found here.
The thing is I planed to do some BIOS updates yesterday. Before I implement that, at first, I think I should test whether W8 Pro could be flashed or not.

The tool I use is:
AMI AFU for Aptio V (The newset version got from AMI website)


I first extracted the BIOS Rom file using AMI AFU for Aptio V and got a 4 MB (4096 KB) "afuwin.rom".
Then I flashed this 4 MB rom file using the same tool.

After rebooting the system, the LED kept in Blue and the W8 Pro won't response anymore. (I know normally the LED should be in Red and Blue alternatively).

Today I reviewed some posts in this forum, I found out that the W8 Pro roms shared are all 8 MB! This must be the reason why I failed. I suspect the AFU software did not function well.

I decided to use CH341A programmer to flash the BIOS chip directly.

1. Any suggestions or guidance for me?
2. Which Rom file should I use?

我之前想尝试刷新BIOS，但是自己不是很确定W8 Pro能不能刷。我就想先尝试用 AMI AFU for Aptio V （AMI官网找到的最新版）提取出BIOS 的 ROM 文件，然后用相同的软件把这个ROM刷一遍来验证一下。
我用AFU提取出的ROM是4MB (4096KB) 大小，刷完以后再重启机器就开不了了。
具体表现是机器一直常亮蓝色灯。我知道灯应该是一蓝一红一蓝，所以肯定是出问题了。
直到今天找到我们这个论坛才发现论坛里分享的2017年和2019年的W8 Pro BIOS ROM都是8MB大小，所以应该是AFU提取的ROM不对头。

我打算用CH341A编程器抢救一下，请问，
1. 有什么需要注意的或者建议吗？
2. 我应该用哪一个ROM呢？

No the MINI PC doesn’t boot anymore.

Thanks for the BIOS rom. May I confirm that the rim size is 8 MB right?
And the 4MB Ron I extracted using AMI software is totally wrong, right?

This has nothing to do with the size. It is a mistake to download the BIOS from a place other than the official website. If you make a mistake in the BIOS operation, the computer will be in danger.

Thanks for your reply. I might have not expressed myself clearly.
I didn’t download any Rom from the internet. I use a tool from the BIOS company that you use, AMI, to extract the rom directly from Mini PC.
The software automatically reads the BIOS chip and exports the rom to a file. I flashed this exported rom and made my mini PC fail its boot up.

I know it’s totally my fault. I want to ask for help.
Can I send it back to you for repair?
Or should I use a programmer to re-flash the BIOS chip?

I guess I would try to repair it by myself first.
I want to enquire about that,

1. If I open the box of my W8 Pro and try to repair it, am I still qualified to get the after-sales service?
2. Is it possible that I ask for a BIOS rom that has CSM (legacy boot) support? To make it clear, a rom that can support Windows 7?

2. We do not recommend that you go back to the WIN7 version, you will be missing the driver and many functions will not be available.
