I don’t know how everyone usually shuts down, press the power button? Click the start menu? Still not shutting down at all?
In fact, Windows 10 has other cool shutdown methods.
Ancient shortcuts
Friends who have used the XP system may know that in the XP system, pressing the Win key + U + U can quickly shut down. This trick is particularly useful in the computer class when the King of Fighters is fighting fast.
But this shortcut key no longer works after Windows Vista.
But another shortcut key Alt + F4 is still available.
Press Alt + F4 on the desktop to open and close the Windows window, and then press Enter to quickly shut down. It should be noted that the shutdown window can only be called up on the desktop. If you press Alt+F4 on other programs, the program will be closed.
But you can press Win +D to quickly return to the desktop, and then press Alt +F4.
Slide to shut down
The Windows 10 system supports sliding shutdown. This is actually a shutdown method for Windows 10 tablets. Long press the power button on the Windows 10 tablet to call up the sliding shutdown program.
Non-tablet Windows 10 systems can also call this program through shortcuts.
First create a shortcut, the object location is C:Windows\System32\SlideToShutdown.exe Then double-click to open this shortcut to slide to shut down. Use the left mouse button to drag the lock screen picture to the bottom to shut down.
However, it doesn't seem to be elegant enough to double-click every time you shut down.
We can right-click the icon-Properties-Shortcut-Shortcut key to set a keyboard shortcut: In this way, no matter which window we are in, just press the shortcut key to call up the sliding shutdown.
Thanks for watching.
