ive had this computer under a month and the ram is faulty. what should i do? i purchased it of someone else, it was fine when i got it. not sure how this has happened, it happened after the feature update 2004. the ak1 i have is now formatted and cant do nothing

Though this won't help now, it's always a good idea to save a system image, whether using Windows' built in system imaging program or a 3rd party program, before performing any major updates/upgrades. You can save the image on an external device, such as an HDD/SSD or a flash drive with adequate space (at least 60GB is good). This way, if something goes wrong, you can easily re-image the system to exactly the way it was at the time you saved the image. A system image is like a whole system snapshot.
It's also good to backup any important files or programs on a somewhat regular basis.
