Stuck on bios screen, windows 10 won't start.
I have an acepc GK3V of 8gb ram, windows 10, SSD 256gb, like other users it crashes on the bios screen and there is no way to get it started. Selecting boot from hd does not boot. I think i will have to reinstall, how do i download the authentic windows 10 and do everything? Thanks to all who will answer.

franru2021,
You can find the installation file and the installation tutorial for the GK3V on this page.

Actually, I don't see the menu they show in the video (min 1:59), only one with two options: Microsoft boot menu
Enter setup
Could that be the problem, thanks in advance

I recommend trying a different USB flash drive or trying it in a different USB port.ruperto1714 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 2:55 pm Actually, I don't see the menu they show in the video (min 1:59), only one with two options: Microsoft boot menu

If the installation of the system fails, you can try to replace an SSD, or expand the 2.5SSD to install the system. Check whether the SSD of this machine is normal

Re: Stuck on bios screen, windows 10 won't start.
The installation was successful and a reboot followed.
After the reboot the bios screen reappears, I selected the boot from hd but it does not start, then I tried to select the boot from usb and after installation the error appears in the picture. Now the pc doesn't even turn on using the on off button, the last time it turned on the screen remained black. What happened? I would like to have my pc back. Thanks. Should I return it to amazon? I don't know if they accept it, purchased in April 2021 it worked well until a few weeks ago.

Re: Stuck on bios screen, windows 10 won't start.
franru2021,
The Windows Boot Manager should be selected as the first boot device.
At this point, with it not starting, I would try a BIOS discharge. I don't know for sure that it will help, but it's the first step to try when a unit won't start at all, like you're describing.
If this doesn't help, the next step would be contacting ACEPC's after sales support at service@iacepc.com. Being that you got it in April it's likely too late for Amazon to be able to help, though you can always contact them if you want to, of course.

Re: Stuck on bios screen, windows 10 won't start.
I have the exact same issue with the exact same device (AK2) also purchased in April. Machine was very lightly used by my 90 year old grandfather to browse the web and play solitaire. It appears the SSD has failed. Followed all steps:
BIOS discharge (had to do this a couple months ago and it worked fine until a few days ago, tried it again with no success this time)
No boot option regarding Microsoft boot menu.
Did the system re-install and see the same error as above: DiskPart encounters and I/O error and fails.
It appears these SSDs are failing after 4-5 months. Is AcePC providing replacement PCs or SSDs for devices purchased less than 5 months ago?
