acepc ak1 Power supply specs

I am interested in using the ak1 in the field for ham radio use. does anyone now the power supply requirements? Will the unit run from a Llthiium battery which ha a 13.5 voltage?

I don't have an AK1, but the power supplies for both my GK1 and AK3, as well as the ACEPC universal power supply listed on Amazon, which says it's for the AK1, have an output of 12V @ 2500mA DC, and negative - center - positive.
I have no idea whether it will run from a battery though.

The AK1 motherboard should not support the use of lithium batteries
