Is it possible and supported to switch off the fans completely?
If so, then I would like to test it. How does it work?

Re: The fan sounds loud
I don't see UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell as an option in the Boot Menu.
I see UEFI: San Disc... (muy USB flash drive is a San Disc).
When I select UEFI: San Disc... by hitting Enter, it doesn't do anything.
The only way out of the F7 Boot menu is ESC or CTL-ALT-DEL which result in normal boot.
Any ideas?

AK1 EFI:
Unzip this file and put it in the root directory of the U disk, then you can flash the BIOS normally.

Thank you. When I do this, it seems to fail not finding startup.nsh?
It gets to the 'press ESC to skip startup.nsh, or press any other key to continue' bit then just stops.
Is startup.nsh missing from the zip file?

Re: The fan sounds loud
When flashing the EC, remove all the USB flash drives or hard disks except the flash USB flash drive. Then just brush the AK1 EC file,
AK1 EC upgrade: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Re: The fan sounds loud
I have an AK1 PC and would like to update the EC because I find the fan annoying. The process described above doesn't seem to work. I have downloaded and extracted the flash utility from the Google drive, and also the EFI.zip file. I have tried the upgrade both from my USB drive and I have also copied them to the root of the built-in c: drive.
After starting the UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell option, the attaches screenshot shows what I get.
No update program executes, it just sits there until I exit the utility. Am I doing something wrong?
I've also attached a screenshot of the files I copied to the c: drive. I copied BOOTIA32.efi and BOOTX64.efi to the root, but they also exist in the original location in the EFI subdirectory.

Re: The fan sounds loud
Please check whether the external hard disk is unplugged.
You need to unplug the external hard disk to install it for the command to run normally.
