Can the machine start automatically after it is powered on?jcx wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:15 am @spikerguy
Yes, they've sent me a copy of the BIOS that will do this feature, however I'm still having the same issue as I was having trying to flash the other BIOS they provided.
@admin
When running 01_Plus10_afuFlashx64.bat from the download you provided:It reads the flash file okay, and attempts to flash the BIOS, but gives this error:Code: Select all
cd /d %~dp0 @echo off AFUWINx64.exe T8U007_no_log_autopower_wifi_6255_20190920.bin /p /b /n /x rem pause c:\windows\system\shutdown.exe -r -t 0
And then it reboots because of the shutdown.exe command.Code: Select all
1e - Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file.
Any ideas on getting it to flash?
Hi! I thought I'd see if there were any...

Having exactly same problem as "jcx".
BIOS upgrade to power Auto on gives "1e - Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file." and then re-boots.
I also have same BIOS version as "jcx" -
"BIOS Vendor: American Megatrends
Core Version: 5.011
Compliancy: UEFI 2.4; PI 1.3"
Tried upgrade from Desktop folder as suggested and also from C:/ root as suggested elsewhere. Both fail.
Really need help getting this sorted, very frustrating.

Same problem latest suggestion - "https://mega.nz/#!FhoRRa7B!asdgAb7BWSNe ... LKX9Ohck18" - still gives error
1e - Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file.
I attach my T11 label and bar code which maybe of use.
Also others in the forum (spikerguy) have suggested "bin file not secured with the signature needed for the BIOS"
I await your response

Re: Hi! I thought I'd see if there were any...
Tried several different browsers, still get - 1e Error.....
Turned off all virus software, still get - 1e Error.....
Tried from desktop, still get - 1e Error.....
Tried from C:\ root, still get - 1e Error.....
Has anybody found a solution because just trying BIOS loaders from various sites does not work for me?
Still desperate to find a solution.

Your latest suggested BIOS is the same version previously suggested on the Wed Jul 01 and gives the same error when loaded. viz.
"1e - Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file."
Is there anything else I need to do before trying to upgrade. Is there a BIOS loader I can use that will help.
Also "jcx" on this forum was having the same upgrade issue as myself. Is it possible to contact them to see if they solved the problem?

You can download it on other computers now, and then send it to your computer for installation.
