I don't have this option in my BIOS either.

Pleas post a link to a BIOS version for the AK1 that supports this feature.

AK1 power on and boot EC download:

The video posted does not work, it needs a workaround:

For some unknown reason, the USB key I plugged in mapped to fs1: and not fs3:

The file startup.sh needs to be updated to change fs3: to fs1:

Also: the files you posted are not a BIOS update, they are updating something called "EC"

After update, the PC does indeed boot after power failure, but the option to control the behavior is still not available in the BIOS.

Also, the FAN is now making very strange noises.

The method of flashing ec is the same as that of BIOS, and there is no question.
EC: EC is similar to BIOS. It is a relatively advanced power management chip for the machine. It mainly controls the machine's fan speed, keyboard backlight, I/O devices and some switches. By updating the EC firmware, the fan speed can be improved and the hardware can be repaired. BUG and implement some new functions and so on.

Hi,

Is it correct that the AK1 and AK2 use the same BIOS? I have an AK2 and would like updated BIOS to allow a power on after power loss. I see many posts on this for AK!...not many for AK2.

I'd appreciate a link to the most recent.

Thanks!

Here is my current version:

This setting already exists in AK2. You don't need to flash the BIOS again.

I don't see the setting in my BIOS, and it is not restarting when power is applied. Here's a picture of that screen:

AK1 and above models can be powered on in “Chipset.”
