Hello,
I have a GK3V - J4125 6/128 GB.
Here my BIOS info:
Information BIOS Vendor American Megatrend
Core Version 5.13
Compliancy UEFI 2.7; PI 1.6
Project Version 1AUAJ 0.38 x64
Build Date and Time 09/22/2020 16:45:19

Is there an update available after so long please?
I also would like to manage the system energy state from BIOS: on linux the wifi is off and the syste cannot change the S-states.

This version of the GK3V seems to be abandoned and the support is very poor,
Thank you. I really hope to get an update.

Hello friend,

I'm glad you posted your thoughts on the forum. I just discussed this issue with our product engineer. Unfortunately, our BIOS no longer provides updates.

The reason is straightforward. Most mini pcs on the market do not provide BIOS updates because updating BIOS requires specific requirements and system engineers to adjust and test. We do not have enough workforce and energy. And many customers will not update the BIOS, which causes the product to become bricked.

That's why we don't provide continuous updates of the BIOS version.
Because the requirement is minimal, I will still pay attention to this problem. If the condition is significant, I will recommend restarting the BIOS update.

But if you are looking for any after-sale service like a product quality issue, function issue, or service report, you can always contact me.

PS: If you are willing to get a new GK3PRO freely, please check this post if you have an Amazon account and can leave us a review.

Feel sorry.

Hello admin,
I have the same GK3V / AK3V as rapo73.
BIOS data:
Core version 5.13
Compliance UEFI 2.7; PI 1.6
Project Version 1AUAJ 0.38 x64
Build Date and Time 09/22/2020 16:45:19

Due to the missing setting for Secure Boot, it is not possible to upgrade to Windows 11. TPM can be enabled in BIOS.
Due to the end of support for Windows 10 in 2025, there is a great need to upgrade to Windows 11.

Is there a way to independently activate the AMI BIOS with the setting for secure boot? For example with the AMIBCP tool ?
I would also run the test on my minipc.

Thank You

I created an account just to thank you for maintaining this site. I had a "GK1V26 0.01 x64" J4125 PC, followed the instructions you gave on the first page to somebody else to update the BIOS, and am now installing Win 11. Wasn't really expecting any support at all for this little PC but found it here. So, thanks!

If you don’t want to keep the data, you can flash our win11 system directly. If you flash the bios to open the TPM, you must provide the bios interface and check the bios version. We have made three versions before opening the TPM better with a photo

AK series machines cannot turn on the TPM. Only the GK series may have a chance.

Hello admin,
Thanks for your answer.
TPM is not the problem. I was able to activate this in the BIOS in the FTPM setting.
Unfortunately, however, secure boot cannot be activated. There is no setting in the BIOS for this.

If the bios is not upgradable:
Would it be alternatively possible to buy from Your company a mainboard with TPM2.0 and secure boot in exchange?

Hi.
I have the same bios version mentioned above and I would like to know if have already worked on an update to solve the secure boot problem and be able to update to Windows 11.
I bought the product in 2021 on Amazon Spain and I would like to be able to continue receiving Windows updates .

Some friends asked if GK3V can upgrade to Windows 11. If the CPU is J3455, it is not recommended to upgrade, and it will freeze. Other suggestions to directly install the Win11 system
