Platform Introduction
Jasper Lake/Gemini Lake/Apollo Lake, the same low-power "Atom" microarchitecture
Jasper Lake:-Intel GEN 11th Processors
-The first 10nm desktop processor to be released by the end of 2020. Compared to Gemini Lake, the IPC (equivalent to same frequency performance) is 30% higher Common CPUs: N4500/N4505/N5095/N5105/N5100
Gemini Lake:
-Intel GEN 9th Processors
-Released at the end of 2017, 14nm architecture, DDR4 memory support -Significantly improved video hardware decoding capabilities compared to Apollo Lake: Native HDMI 2.0; 15-20% actual performance improvement. Common CPU: N4000/N4020/N4100/N4120/J4005/J4025/J4105/J4125
Apollo Lake:-Intel GEN 7th Processors
-Released at the end of 2016 with an improved 14nm process design, without too much surging performance power, outstandingly low price advantage of having 12 EU units. Common CPU: N3350/N3450/N4200/J3355/J3455/J4205
Jasper Lake Technology Benefits
Jasper Lake is the latest 10nm process for more powerful performance, 30% better than Gemini Lake and 50% better than Apollo Lake.
2 graphics card GPU performance is more powerful, with 24EU execution unit.
3 support up to 16 GB DDR4-2933 or LPDDR4x-2933 dual channel
4Support Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), which is 3X faster compared to Wi-Fi 5.
Jasper Lake is more compatible with Windows 11: Apollo Lake does not support upgrades, Gemini Lake will be laggy and not as smooth as Windows 10 after upgrade use.
pf sense Firewall: firewall effect is achieved by pf sense software, effectively blocking viruses/unsafe links/advertisements, etc.
Multiplexing: can balance network load, dynamically reduce latency, and improve data transmission bandwidth
Soft routing: soft routing performance is more powerful, soft routing features more diverse (such as offline downloads, de-advertising, QOS, traffic control, multi-line control, link load balancing, etc.)
Server:Dual NICs can also configure the computer host as an intranet file storage server, making it both intranet and outtranet, and implementing some of the features of NAS storage

Great product. mini pc is going in the right direction. This kind of feature will be more convenient for everyone. This product will definitely be liked by everyone.
Re: New product launch- T8pro
Definitely love the look and design of this. I can see the dual NICs being very useful as a network appliance (like pfsense, etc), and the three HDMI ports look pretty useful if that's the route a user wants to go. Although I can't see needing both for the same use, it provides a lot of flexibility in a single package!

Re: New product launch- T8pro
Does this support WOL(Wake on LAN) if so where to enable it? dont see any option in the very limited BIOS this is running!
Re: New product launch- T8pro
The dual network ports is a good way to get into firewall setup: good call on that.
Design looks pretty nice, as well. Although I wonder if the triple HDMI output might be a bit overkill, I'm sure there's a use case out there. People living in terminal might really like that, for instance, so they can throw all the stats up there.

Re: New product launch- T8pro
The T8Pro has decent specs with a very small form factor. Just ordered one from Amazon with 8GB RAM and 256GB M.2 SSD. It is not clear if this is a SATA or NVME SSD. I guess I'll find out soon, but if anyone knows, please share, thanks.

It's M.2 2242 NGFF Max 2TB
Thanks for joining the forum fans, we will become friends here. Any suggestions about the forum I am open to hearing.
Re: New product launch- T8pro
I picked one up during the week and am testing it out. As Admin stated, it's a small 2242 M.2 SATA drive. However, I put a NVMe M.2 drive in it, and was able to get it working. So if the 256GB isn't enough, you can upgrade to something faster and larger.
It's a pretty nice little system. I can't believe how small it is, compared to other mini PCs that I have!
