How to enable the Advanced and Chipset features in the BIOS

Post by Hans »

Hello,
I would have liked to have the Advanced and Chipset features enabled in the BIOS, how does that work?

Is there a key combination or maybe an alternative BIOS (T11)

Thanks a lot

Our latest BIOS has closed the advanced options and chipset options. To prevent misoperation caused by customer failure, if you still need it, I can send you the old BIOS.

Me (and I'm sure many other users too), I'd also like to get access to the advanced BIOS (actually UEFI) options and features. Personally I think that users should be given freedom of choice: it's our responsibility if we brick the system or not, and nobody could seriously blame AcePC for any mistake we might make changing the UEFI settings (though I understand that this might increase the workload for the support guys). Anyhow my suggestion would be to offer both firmwares' downloads: the open one and the closed one, stating that the former is for "advanced" users. Just an idea.
