date and time are disconnected every time I turn on the pc

Post by abiolin »

Good evening, I bought an acepc minipc on Amazon, I'm still under warranty, the problem is the following: the date and time are disconnected every time I turn the PC back on. I went to the WINDOWS Services app and automatically set the "Windows time" serice but nothing has changed. What can you advise me?

abiolin,

It's possible that the problem is related to the CMOS battery, which is what keeps the time, amongst other things, when the unit is off. Hopefully the admin will reply with some advice/instruction, but it also wouldn't hurt to contact 'after sales support' at service@iacepc.com.

It would help if you can identify which system you have, like a stick PC, small system, etc. What's the model?

(also, this post was in the wrong category. Is there any way a Moderator can move it to troubleshooting?)
