GK3V died

Post by Andybt »

I have a GK3V which I've been using for about a week and it has died. It will not boot in any way shape of form. When turned on it goes straight tot he BIOS screen. There are no boot options available. I have used a version of MiniTool's partition magic which shows the drive in the computer as "bad disk". I was going to try an SSD drive but cannot download the files on the support site as I keep getting a network error. I have emailed support but they have gone very quiet.

Any thoughts on downloading the operating system, or getting a machine that works?

Sadly the machine was bought in June and not used until last week so I'm unable to return it to Amazon.

The best thing would be to contact support at support@iacepc.com.

With regard to downloading the installation file, try clearing your browser cache or even rebooting your modem, with the latter hopefully giving you a different IP address. Lastly, you could try a VPN. The error you're seeing while trying to download the file tends to be tied to the ISP.
