W5 Pro will not power up

Post by mseeba »

We've had this little pc for over a year and it's worked great but now it won't power on. The little blue light sometimes comes on for about 2 seconds when you plug it in then nothing.

What can we do to fix this?

Did anything else change from the last time it powered on? Was it working one day and literally didn't work the next, or was it out of use for a while?

I don't have a W5 Pro, but checking its details, it seems to have a unique power adapter/port, so I don't know if you have a spare one you can test with. Maybe try to clean out the port to make sure it's getting the proper connections?

mseeba,

The first step would be trying a BIOS discharge. The instructions for this procedure are below...

W8 Pro • GK1 • AK3 • AM02 • T6 Pro • AMR5 • GK3 Pro • AD03 • AM06 Pro • T8 Pro • S1 • T8 Plus • CK10 • AK1

There is a reset button on the machine. Try to hold it down for ten seconds, then restart to see if it can enter the system. If you can’t solve it, you need to contact after-sales
