Hi
My unit is only 2 days old from Amazon France
It was updating / rebooting on Windows and now it will not turn back on no matter what I do
Holding down power button for 3 sec or 15, no difference
When pulling power and putting back in, I get a blue light for about a second then it goes off
Different HDMI ports make no difference
Holding down del key does not keep the unit powered on.
Can you advise on the issue or am I returning it back to Amazon ?
Have you got a design fault with this ? I see a few of these units with the same issue ........
Another GK3V that won't turn back on...
Re: Another GK3V that won't turn back on...
There is one of the most common solutions when miniPC cannot be turned on. Disassemble the machine, remove the button battery, short-circuit the socket of the button battery, and then try to turn it on. The button battery does not need to be plugged in.

Thanks for that, it has worked
It is very concerning that this has happened. Any ideas of this common fault that is occurring?
I have left the battery out for now
I know if I have further issues, Amazon won't give me an issue to change it or refund me

Thanks admin
I do like how compact and powerful the unit is for its size, so I hope it will continue to operate normally

I appreciate the recent video upload but as the pc is less
Than 2 weeks old. I have been advised by support@ who will replace Unit for me.therefore I won’t take this action so warranty is protected, I will post how it went. Thanks again

BIOS panics and/or BIOS corruption are common quirks that can happen on any and all PCs at some point or another in their lifetime. Do not be alarmed. Pulling the "button cell battery" AKA: the CMOS battery simply clears the persistent BIOS memory in NVRAM that stores any customizations you have made to your BIOS settings so you don't lose them between boots.
Misconfigured settings / drivers / updates etc can all play a part l. There is a reasonable chance a Windows update could have caused it if not a BIOS bug or otherwise.
