AK3V: 98°C temp

hello!
I've just bought an AK3V minipc with 8Gb RAM but i've noticed that the max temperature is quit high: it's 98°C while the max temperature supported is 105.
Do i must worrie about?

Hello, to better judge, is the fan running? What kind of work are you doing when the temperature rises. Looking forward to your reply.

In addition to the small fan for the CPU, it is best to add some heat dissipation grease on the CPU.

Hi !
yes the fan is running.
nothing special: google maps,youtube and in general web browsing.

Add heat-dissipating silica gel yourself, the heat dissipation effect will be better

I had the same problem. The fan was not running, just twitching. I replaced the fan and added new heatsink compound an it was much improved. I was still not happy with the temperatures so printed a small cradle for the AK3 to sit in which contains a 40mm 24v fan. I run it from the 12v supply so is very quiet, hopefully long lasting and keeps the pc plus the 2.5" SSD nice and cool.
