T8/T11 system Reset issue

Post by bionicman »

Hi all!
Ok. Installed this with no problems however when I try the 'Reset This PC' option it is asking for a USB or CD.
Has the option to reset within Windows been removed or are there files I should have copied from the USB drive?
Thanks

bionicman,

To perform a Reset the system might need files that the ACEPC tweaked version does not install on the system, and the files for which the ACEPC USB installation media may not have.

You can always create USB installation media using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and try that when it asks for a USB during the Reset, though whether it will work depends on whether a W10 2004 system can reset using files from W10 20H2 installation media. The ACEPC created installation media likely won't work when it's asking for a USB during the Reset process, though you could always try it and see.

Edit: To keep the file download topic centered on that, I've moved your question to a new topic. If you again need to download the T8/T11 system, for whatever reason, the link to such is here.

Oke doke.
It does copy over WinRE & the 6 needed files. It's probably just broken.

No problems though. I built my own using OEM Recovery Partition Creator for Windows 7/8/10 from My Digital Life forums.
