T11 not reaching 1.92Ghz

Post by fabio.correale »

Ho un T11, perché il processore è bloccato a 1,67 Ghz? Non arriva fino a 1,92!

fabio.correale,

Hopefully you can read or translate this from English.

The T11 is likely locked in to not exceed 1.67GHz, or not exceed it except under specific circumstances. They normally do this to prevent overheating.

To adjust this, please see the information on the following web page...

https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/use- ... windows-10

Again, they normally set it this way for a reason, so please be careful when making adjustments. I would advise installing a CoreTemp or something like it to monitor your CPU temperatures.

Salve,
come può vedere dall'allegato non ci sono opzioni possibili. Non ho scelta nel pannello di opzioni risparmio energia.

fabio.correale,

Before continuing, please be aware that editing your Windows registry settings ALWAYS carries risk, so it would be best to back up your registry before editing it for the CPU level. If you do not know how to backup your registry, please see the following...

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/top ... 28a2ab0692

The option to adjust your CPU level needs to be enabled in the registry. To do so, please see the following...

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/955 ... tions.html

Again, editing the registry carries risk, so please be careful. You may even want to think about backing up your computer before doing so.
