How to install the installed driver in Win10 without using other programs

Post by admin »

When you want to check the drivers installed in Win10, you may need to use other methods. There are third-party programs that make it easier to control the driver, but if you don't want to use these programs, we will tell you what to do.

One of the questions that Windows 10 users think of is how they update the installed drivers. Many users like to use third-party programs for driver control. Also, the "Device Manager" tab of Windows is currently in a replacement state.

On the other hand, the device manager is a system in which each device is individually controlled by nature, so it will not provide you with an ordered list of all drivers. Usually, third-party programs will stand out because they provide these lists, but of course, there are other ways to do this.

How to enter the driver list through a single code?

If you do not want to install a third-party program on your computer, you can use the computer's command part to access the driver information. What to do is very easy. You can get a list of drivers in just a few steps. Here are the steps you need to take:

Open a command window. (You can use the Windows + R shortcut to enter "cmd" in the opened window or directly search for "cmd" in the "Search" tab to open it.)

Type driver query in the command bar that opens.

Press Enter.

When you do this, you will be able to access the information of all the drivers installed on your computer in the form of a list. You can find the driver you need by scrolling up and down in the list. If you want to access more information, such as the directory where the driver is installed, just type driver query /v.

If you want to know which digitally signed driver is a special command. This command is driver query /si. There are also different and customized commands available for driver search. Driverquery / see these commands? You must write.

View the driver from the "System Information" window:

Another alternative that can be used is to use the system information feature of Windows 10. Using this interface, you can get much other information about the device. We will only focus on driver information so as not to distract the content of this article.

It would help if you did the following to get the driver information from the "System Information" window of Windows 10:

Use the Windows + R shortcut to open the "Run" window or enter a search.
Type info and press Enter.
In the window that opens, go to the "Software Environment" heading.
Select the system driver under this heading.

When using this method, you can view driver information more compactly. Although standard equipment is usually provided with the driver, special equipment may sometimes cause problems due to driver issues. You can use these two methods to learn the driver without other programs.
Thanks for joining the forum fans, we will become friends here. Any suggestions about the forum I am open to hearing.

Type driver query in the command bar that opens.

Press Enter.
For reference, please be sure to omit the space between the two words when typing them in the command prompt.
