AK2 USB2.0 Port Failed

Post by canaro99 »

The usb2.0 port does not work and has never worked. I receive a "request for the usb descriptor failed" message with an windows code 43 error given. How is this resolved? Or, does the computer need to be returned?

Thank you.

canaro99,

The admin should be back tomorrow (off for the weekend). In the meantime, the following site appears to have some info that might be of help...

https://softwarekeep.com/help-center/ho ... windows-10

I've never experienced this issue, so I can't attest to the veracity of any of the suggested fixes, but they might be worth a try.
W8 Pro • GK1 • AK3 • AM02 • T6 Pro • AMR5 • GK3 Pro • AD03 • AM06 Pro • T8 Pro • S1 • T8 Plus • CK10 • AK2 Pro

It should be the USB device problem.
Please try to replace the USB flash drive to try to eliminate the USB device problem. Or try another USB port to see if the recognition is normal. If the recognition is normal, it means that the USB port is damaged.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.

I have unplugged all other USB ports: same message.

With all ports unplugged, I've tried: external HHD, webcam, and printer. None of them work and each gets the same error message.

My fix: I'm using a hub in one of the USB3 ports and consider the USB2 port on the left side to be inoperable.

Thanks

Thank you. I'll try the steps I have not already tried.
