Hi,
I'd like to use my ACEPC AK1 with some USB peripherals.
I've seen that these peripherals switches ON as soon as they are connected to the AK1 USB ports.
I'd like to have the USB port not powered when the computer is OFF.
Are there any way to switch off the USB ports as soon as the AK1 is OFF ?
Thank you for your support !

Re: AK1 USB power
After turning off the AK1, the USB and other ports' power will also be turned off. What is your question? Please note that if the AK1 enters sleep mode, the USB port power cannot be turned off.

Re: AK1 USB power
I have the same issue. I am doing a shutdown, not going into sleep mode and USB ports continue to have power.

Re: AK1 USB power
Though I don't know for sure that this will work, try the following...
Go to Settings >> System >> Power & Sleep.
Click on "Additional Power Settings" on the right.
Click "Choose what the power buttons do" on the left.
Click "Change Settings that are currently unavailable" near the top center.
Uncheck "Turn on fast startup" in the newly available options.
Click "Save Settings" at the bottom.
Then close out the open boxes.
Then shut down and see if it did the trick.
I'm on my desktop computer right now, not my ACEPC, so I can't try it myself to see if it solves the issue.

Re: AK1 USB power
The fast start box was not checked. I tried checking the box restarting, then unchecking and shutdown but this had no effect.

Re: AK1 USB power
How weird that it was unchecked by default. Still, sorry it wasn't a solution.
Hopefully the admin will have an idea of what to try next.

Thank you for your reply.
This issue is really a problem, all USB port are powered... it's not safe, it's not efficient, it's not acceptable...
Do you have any plan to update the bios to disable the USB port power when the AK1 is turned off ?
Thank you for your reply

Re: AK1 USB power
Sorry, this feature cannot be turned off. If the USB is powered off in sleep mode, the USB device's product will not continue to work. This is also unreasonable in design.

Re: AK1 USB power
I am not shutting down in sleep mode. Fast start is not checked. The USB ports have power when the AK1 is shutdown.

Re: AK1 USB power
After closing, please rest assured. Although the USB port is charged, when the USB device is not plugged in, it will not work and will not consume power. Sorry, there are currently no such BIOS to turn off.
