I actually have two SSDs in my GK3 and I have Windows 11 on my M.2 stock SSD and I have Ubuntu Linux on a SATA SSD. I am experiencing the sound problem on either operating system, so I don't know if the Windows 11 update is the culprit?
Oh wow. That's interesting.

It's possible that, at least for me, the problem was actually there before the update to 24H2, but I was rarely ever using the audio on my S1 or T8 Plus, so if it was there I may have just missed. I didn't really start using them frequently with audio until recently due to starting to play some older games through Steam that I hadn't played for years.

I'd venture to say it's certainly possible since the problem affected both of my OS's and a Windows update should have absolutely no effect on Linux running off a different SSD.
I tried the "power-off / unplug / power-on" exercise to see if the noise went away but it did not.
Then I tried something different. I relocated the gk3 power adapter to a different plug location on my plug splitter. This is the after relocation picture.

In the original location, it was directly across from another power adapter which is powering one of my monitors.
So, after moving the power adapter -- no noise and still quiet more than 24 hours later and through several reboots.
Weird

I bought a relatively inexpensive ($9) USB to 3.5mm audio adapter from Amazon, and in the few days I've been using it I've not heard the problem again. Granted, it will take more time to know for sure, as I've used both my T8 Plus and S1 many times before where the audio problem wasn't there with the 3.5mm port, but I'm hopeful it solves the problem altogether.

I do remember a couple of times where the problem was there and I tired a USB headset to see if the anomaly came through USB as well, and it didn't, so again, I'm hopeful.

Just in case, the following is what I bought...

Well, today I updated my T8 Plus, and the sound anomaly was there. So I tried the USB adapter, and the sound anomaly was not present. I moved it back and forth a few times to make sure, but the USB adapter definitely solved the issue, at least as a workaround. The issue itself is still present, but the USB adapter gets around it so it doesn't affect the sound.
