WotPizza,

Which model ACEPC mini pc do you have?

Also, which type of SSD did you purchase? Is it SATA, M.2 or NVMe?

Lastly, because some models can utilize two different types of add on drives, where in the unit are you installing the add-on SSD? i.e. under the lid, on the system board itself, or in the add on drive carriage underneath the unit?

cartman3189,

If you have a way to do so, such as connecting it via USB, try creating and formatting a partition on the SSD, then see if it shows in Windows Disk Management when you connect it and start the T11.

Also, when it's connected to the T11, see if it's showing in the BIOS. Don't boot to it or anything, but just see if it's showing. If it IS showing, it should be showing in Windows Disk Management.

Actually, I made a bit of a mistake. Rather than going into the BIOS you can more easily take a look at the Boot Menu on startup. The drive will need to have a partition on it, so hopefully it still has the partitions you created while it was connected via USB.

On unit startup keep pressing the F7 key on your keyboard. This should take you to the boot menu. Hopefully there you will see either the drive, or partitions on the drive. If you do, hit the ESC key to boot normally. At that point we'd need to figure out why the unit is seeing the drive, but Windows is not showing it.

If you don't see anything related to the add on drive, an admin will likely need to give advice or instructions on what to do next. It may involve contacting ACEPC after sales help at service@iacepc.com.

cartman3189,

Unfortunately, the second set of pictures aren't loading all the way for me. My internet is a bit limited, and larger files like that sometimes stop loading for me after not finishing in a certain amount of time. 🙁

However, with that said, due to the problems you're having I'd advise contacting ACEPC's after sales support at service@iacepc.com.

1. To troubleshoot the SSD problem, it is recommended that you try another SSD hard drive.
2. Eliminate the problem of poor contact, please try to replug the SSD hard drive.
3. See the following video tutorial: https://mega.nz/file/thBXVajQ#H-ZJciYi6 ... 7PbfpOl5SU
