Hey I've tried contacting Nipogi directly but they say they can't source the fan anywhere to sell it to me, which is crazy to me.
I believe it's 20x20x6mm fan but the connector looks nothing like any replacements I can find on aliexpress/ebay.
The connector is to the right of the fan in the picture, it's like a very flat 4 pin pwm, not thick like on a regular fan.
Anyone got any idea? My minipc is overheating to 100c doing basic tasks
Thanks
Fan died, replacement?

Re: Fan died, replacement?
Do you know if it's under warranty? If it is, I'd contact barry, a tech for the company, at barry@minipcunion.com, providing the order number in the correspondence.
If it's not under warranty, and you're sure of the size, you can probably get a 20x20x6 replacement fan on Amazon or eBay, though you might need to splice the plug if it's smaller than normal.

It's not under warranty anymore unfortunately. And when removing the fan connector the plastic fell to pieces and the wires came out with it so I can't even follow the pinout, a real nightmare, it's long gone too I got too frustrated with it and binned it because the connector fell to pieces anyway.
I tried putting a 40x20x6 USB fan in it and letting that come out of a gap in the case and powered via rear USB ports, but it was ridiculously noisy with no PWM control

I found this fan https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000817 ... ry_from%3A
Does anyone know if the 4 pin connector is the correct one? It kind of looks like it

Re: Fan died, replacement?
I have an N5105 based GK3 Pro. I'll take it apart and see what the fan connector looks like, as it's almost assuredly the exact same system board as the N5105 based AK1 Pro, just flipped upside down for the different case.
If it IS the same, I'll get some snapshots and post them.
Edit:
Yep, they're the same. Sorry they aren't the greatest pictures, but my hands shake from MS, so I have to get creative in ways to steady my phone.

Re: Fan died, replacement?
Thanks a lot for the pictures Gabe, it's much appreciated!
Now that I see it, it kind of doesn't look like the Micro JST 1.25mm connector lol What the hell was used on these things? Is there anyone around here that would know?

I'd contact barry, a tech for the company, at barry@minipcunion.com to see if he can point you to a replacement that would work.
I'd include a link to this topic so that he can see the info and pics. You can copy/paste what's in between the X at the beginning and end...

Re: Fan died, replacement?
I'm having this issue too with a Nipogi AK1 Plus mini pc. It's also got an N100. Mine looks the exact same as yours and I've had it for about 11 months running 24/7 and now the fan seems to be on its way out with a loud whirring/buzzing noise.
