Hi. I have an AM06PRO pc and I convinced my friend to purchase one as an upgrade of a really old system. Mine has the Ryzen 55500U and hers has the Ryzen 7 5800U. I am in the process of setting it up so that she can use it in her office. Basic MS Office, Outlook, Word Docs, etc. The machine was purchased on amazon last week and I am having major issues. The machine seemed OK out of the box, but when connected and updates were ran, the machine now takes around 10 minutes to boot and sometimes bluescreens during normal operations. It would hang up at the startup boot screen with the circling animation and the bios logo.
I did a fresh install with Windows 11 22H4 and the drivers from https://minipcunion.com/viewtopic.php?t=4172. All drivers were successfully installed and there are no unknown devices in device manager. During regular operations like using edge for browsing, the machine would freeze up, cursor not responding or typing taking a long time to register, and it would either resume or bluescreen.
The stop code would be DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, ntoskrnl.exe.
Mine works perfectly with no issues. I have opened the machine and reseated the memory and SSD. It still has this problem.
Has anyone seen this before? I have set bios defaults to no avail. Assistance would be greatly appreciated, otherwise, I will have to return it.
Thanks in advance.
System Slowdown Then Bluescreen on AM06Pro
Re: System Slowdown Then Bluescreen on AM06Pro
Bin verzweifelt, bitte helfen.

Suggestion to check if the CPU temperature and memory are functioning properly:
1. Check the CPU temperature: You can use the tool Core-Temp (download link: [https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/]

2. Download and run the memory test tool: You can download it here:

3. If both checks are normal but the issue persists, please provide your purchase order number and the device label either via private message or by emailing us at barry@minipcunion.com for further verification and analysis.

Re: System Slowdown Then Bluescreen on AM06Pro
Hi. I figured it out. I forgot to update. I went into the BIOS options and turned off CPU Virtualization. I saw another post on the forum with similar symptoms and decided to try it.
AM06 only starts in BIOS
The machine works perfectly now. The earlier PC is a slightly older model with CPU virtualization on and it works perfectly with Windows 11. This one is a bit newer and comes with CPU virtualization on by default and performed just horribly. After turning it off it works perfectly. Not sure why though.
Thanks.

Re: System Slowdown Then Bluescreen on AM06Pro
I have purchased several AM06 Pro units and can confirm that the latest ones with the 5825U CPU have issues when installing a clean version of Windows 24H2.
Specifically:
• The PC freezes in the BIOS if virtualization (SVM) or NX mode are enabled.
• This issue was reproduced on 3 out of 3 units, and I’ve spent a lot of time troubleshooting it.
The main problem is that, to use WSL, I have to disable NX mode, which isn’t ideal from a security standpoint.
Is there an updated BIOS available?
If not, I’m considering returning them, as this feels like wasted money.
