need some help to understand the correct display configuration

Hi there,
i have recently bought the M2A with rtx 3080 gpu on board and after some struggling to update the GPU NVidia driver i found something "strange".
just to clarify: i've followed the tutorial found on this forum. downloaded the correct drivers from nvidia ( in my case the "notebook" one in the filename ). copied the origin directory and modified the inf files with the correct strings.
the installation was successful without any errors but looking on both Nvidia Control Panel and the Windows OS Display Properties, seems that the monitors are plugged into the Iris Xe Card instead the Nvidia one.

is it "normal"?
or it is related to my "custom installation" ?

also...is it normal that Nvidia Control Panel doesn't have the "DISPLAY" section ?

We've had a few users post here, about how they tried download drivers directly from NVIDIA, and they had issues. I believe the recommendation is to get them directly from the PC manufacturer, and avoid using the drivers from the video company, as generic drivers don't always work.

sorry but i don't get it:
Nvidia Drivers are not generic but specifc for type of GPU and model ( Desktop, Laptop)
the reccomendation is to NOT use the Nvidia drivers ( actually at version 566.14 ), that are constantly updated, and to use the "unsigned" one from the manufacturer that are actually stucked at version 555.85 if i'm not wrong.

does it even makes sense ?

just for example:
The Corsair iCue app ( needed for Corsair devices ) had an issue with the previous version of NVidia drivers ( a lot of CPU usage ) that has been resolved in the actual version. Following this advice: i have to keep the issue untill the manufacturer updates the drivers?

this is a stupid example but try to apply it to a software that you use for your job...

Not a criticism but I would have liked to have known about these "incompatibilities" before spending 1k euros

Yes, it does, because the drivers used may be specifically tailored by the manufacturer to work with the unit in question, while the driver from the GPU manufacturer isn't. Drivers from Nvidia are for the specific GPU, but not the specific system the GPU is being used with, hence the 'generic' term. Most of the time those generic drivers work just fine, but not always. It's one of the reasons Windows includes a driver rollback feature.

I don't want to create controversy but I don't agree with what you write. ( as we should go into specifics about the definition of "driver" )
but assuming you're right,it doesn't justify the fact that it had to be stated that it is not compatible with the manufacturer's native drivers ( and for me... continue to doesn't make any sense at all )

beyond this topic ... do you have any info about my topic question? i mean
is it correct that both my monitors are connected to the Iris Xe card ?

EDIT:
seems that this is the "normal" situation
looking on a friend's laptop with an RTX GPU appear the same configuration
