AM07 "cannot find a fixed internal DISK"
Re: AM07 "cannot find a fixed internal DISK"
The SSD was from KSTON MEMORY TECHONOLOGY not KINGSTON (probably a knock off brand based upon the name). But yes some parameter is changing on the SSD to cause the BIOS not to be able to identify the drive anymore at boot. The KSTON SSD seems to operate correctly when placed in an external NVMe enclosure via USB-C.

Ah, you're right. When I searched online for "KSTON MEMORY TECHONOLOGY" it showed me results from Kingston, but when I just searched for KSTON, I found hits like here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Kston-K76 ... device_imgplentod wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 11:16 amThe SSD was from KSTON MEMORY TECHONOLOGY not KINGSTON (probably a knock off brand based upon the name). Re: AM07 "cannot find a fixed internal DISK"
Good evening everyone. my Ace Magician model AM07, used very little, suddenly upon startup, freezes in the Bios and cannot find any internal hard disk. I think the NVMe is broken. How can I request help under warranty?
I thank everyone for their attention.

Re: AM07 "cannot find a fixed internal DISK"
I my case, I removed the SSD to try it in another laptop with an external mass storage, and the SSD is not detected.. So problem with the SSD.
In your case, you can try the same and if the SSD is detected, you can try the PE system procedure. Ask support to provide you with the procedure, depending on your mini pc model.

Re: AM07 "cannot find a fixed internal DISK"
I have a similar problem
Was gifted a Sinbun mini pc for my birthday a few weeks ago.
It has an X810 motherboard.
installed a 2 tb ssd, following every precaution and direction.
The machine will not recognize the drive.
Searched countless online articles and tried every remedy.
Nothing has wortked.
I have no other laptop or pc to test the new SSD on.
Cannot get assistance from the manufacturer, and unable to return.
If all else fails, I'll take it to a local PC tech. (Not willingly...)
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Skynotempty, I haven't heard of that brand before so I looked it up. Other models appear to support both 2.5" SATA drives and M.2 drives, so I assume you are using one of those. I can't find contact information for the manufacturer.Skynotempty wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 1:34 am I have a similar problem

You'll need to do some troubleshooting on that SSD. There are external adapters you can put it in to test, or maybe you have a friend that has access to something. Or, contact the seller of the SSD and try troubleshooting with them.
