What does the socket I marked in the photo do?
Bios programming or 2.5" hdd socket ?
S1 - What does this socket do?
Re: S1 - What does this socket do?
If I were to guess, it's some kind of serial port for internal debugging. Since it's on the side that doesn't face customers, I expect it wasn't intended for use by normal people like us.
Still, it looks interesting.

Something for internal debugging would be my guess as well, especially because of where it is.

Zooming in and counting the pins, it appears to have 10 of them, which seems to match a classic serial cable. More evidence that it's probably debugging.
Still, I get MiyaCulpa's questioning. I love finding those "easter egg" features on devices that offer more than you'd expect. Kinda like RAM limits.

Re: S1 - What does this socket do?
Some mini PCs have a 2.5" HDD socket. I had hoped for such a thing, but it is not. There are 10 pins in total and there is 3 volts on the outer pins. I think it is something like a debug port. Another thing that interests me is the I/O integrated (ite IC etc. .) not on this pc.

This interface is used for internal debugging;
Currently, S1 does not support expansion of 2.5-inch SSD. It is recommended to connect qi'ta through the USB3.0 interface.
