David, have you tried messaging/emailing Barry yet? I get that you're trying to bump this post, but there are more direct methods to ask for help from the company.

Mine isn't even shown by the official Kingston® SSD Manager https://www.kingston.com/de/support/tec ... ssdmanager.

During our technical analysis, we found that the problem mainly occurred on some built-in M.2 SSDs, which exhibited some abnormal behaviors.
To resolve this issue, we conducted a series of detailed inspections and tests. After in-depth troubleshooting and replacement with a new SSD, the device returned to normal operation and all functions performed very stably.

If you encounter similar problems during use, we recommend that you contact the service specialist of the purchasing platform as soon as possible. They will provide you with professional technical support and after-sales service to help you solve problems. We are always committed to providing you with the highest quality products and services. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Following barry's advice and referencing this forum I'd contacted "the service specialist of the purchasing platform".
The proposal I've received was to purchase a "WD_BLACK SN770 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD" @ Amazon and forward the invoice.
Meanwhile I've received a full refund for the WD Black SSD.

Hallo,
