AK1 - PTT EK Recertification Service produces a high CPU usage all the time

Hi!

Configering a new AK1 for my father.
BIOS Version 5.12 Datum 25.04.2020
Mainboard AK3V Modell AK3V Version 1.0
OS Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit) Version (Build) 2004 (10.0.19041)

Updated all Windows Updates, Intel Updates, upgraded to Windows 10 Version 2004 ...
still high CPU usage for Intel "PTT EK Recertification Service" all the time.

Intel support site sugested
1. to update BIOS and latest "Intel® Trusted Execution Engine driver", but offer this only for the "Intel® NUC Kit NUC6CAYH".
2. switch off "Intel® Platform Trust Technology" in the BIOS, if not neded.

My questions:
1. Where can I download a new BIOS for AK1?
2. Where can I download specific drivers for the AK1?

Didn't find any hint or information on the website or the forum.

I tried to reinstall system with the 1909 pro image but the problem persist.
Any suggests?
Can i disable this service?

The CPU occupies high, which may be caused by the BUG caused by Microsoft's update. You can search for related problems on the Internet. Are you installing the 1909 system provided by us? We optimized the driver to make it occupy a smaller footprint, which can solve the occupancy High question.

Hi,
I have a AK2 with the same problem. I found a solution but don't know if i'm going to miss another function or not, for the moment my pc is working correctly:
1 - open task scheduler
2 - view -> show hidden task
3 - In the task scheduler library, main folder disable "Intel PTT EK Recertification" task

I do have the same problem.....what’s the resolution then ? Go back to W10 pre-update ? The PC is essentially unusable, as CPU is constantly at 100%....

I have AK1 and had the same problem.
For me the solution was installing the following drivers:

Now i'm very happy and my AK1 is no more loudly
