NvmE 2To Crucial not recognized

Post by Tonyletigre »

Hello,

I tried to add a SSD NVme : Crucial P3 Plus 2To M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe - CT2000P3PSSD801 but the system does not recognize it , is it any limitation in terms of size or anything else ?

Though the AM16 isn't specifically listed in the following instructions, some of the info may help...

W8 Pro • GK1 • AK3 • AM02 • T6 Pro • AMR5 • GK3 Pro • AD03 • AM06 Pro • T8 Pro • S1 • T8 Plus • CK10 • AK2 Pro

In the videos posted here (viewtopic.php?t=4970), it looks like one M.2 port supports NVMe and the other only supports SATA. If you're trying to add the NVMe drive to the SATA port, that would explain why it's not recognized. Did you try it in both ports?
GK3V (J4125/8GB/128GB) | AMR5 (R5 5600U/16GB/512GB NVMe) | JK06 (N5100/8GB/256GB) | AK1Pro (N5105/8GB/256GB) | T8Pro (N5095/8GB/256GB) | AD03 (N95/8GB/256GB) | CK10 (i7-10810U/16GB/512GB) | S1 (N95/16GB/512GB)

100% correct. On the motherboard, it even has "NVMe" silkscreened on the occupied M.2 slot and "SATA" on the second slot.
