Disassembling AMR5/changing Wifi/BT module

Post by yacc143 »

Hi!
Anyone got any directions on how to access the Wifi/BT module on the AMR5?

Plan to replace it as I do require BT5 and don't want to mess with external BT dongles (which btw tend to a lottery anyway concerning quality, and chipset).

TiA,

Andreas

@yacc143 not sure why you would replace the wifi/BT, which is already at WiFi6 and BT5.2

check your version

mine shows LMP 11

1. You can open the device manager and check the WiFi Bluetooth module in the network adapter (WiFi Bluetooth module usually has the word "Wireless");
2. If it is a WiFi6 module, it will be equipped with BT5
